ice is not nice...

A week ago I was going to write a jaunty post about the arrival of winter and the beauty of snow. The same day I slipped and fell. I do every year- generally landing on a well padded rump. This year I head butted an SUV and ended up with a concussion. Christmas quilt deadline is blown out of the frozen water.  When my vision sharpens up and my complete concentration returns, I do hope to at least make M. some seasonal pyjamas and/or a t-shirt and some matching undies out of this crazy knit. 

It's not all doom and gloom. The upside is that I don't have a major head injury, all the presents were wrapped and shipped before and we are having our holiday meals catered which will be kind of a nice break from the usual kitchen mayhem. So on a lighter note, I wish you all a safe and joyous holiday whatever one you celebrate! xox
