quilts and music...

Was perusing iTunes and saw the beautiful cover art for the new Decemberists album. It made me wonder what other musicians have a quilt in their cover art. A quick search came up with a Boston-based band actually called Quilt. Lots of people collect vintage and antique photos with patchwork in them. Are there any vinyl junkies out there who can think of other LPs with quilt images in them? Enquiring mind(s) would like to know...

    1. Apparently the wife of one of the bandmates designed the quilt and made two of them to raffle. I would have been buying tickets like a madwoman had I known:) :) :)

  4. The Be Good Tanya's have a recording with a Gee's Bend quilt on the cover. A now-defunct Austin band, Shotgun Party had one with a crazy quilt. And Lisa Hannigan has one with embroidered appliqué -- her own work, I think.
I like the Decembrists, will check out this one!
